BLITZ is opening the 68th BFI London Film Festival today. Steve McQueen’s visually dazzling tour de force is a moving and expansive tapestry of British life during the decisive moments of the Second World War. The film stars Saoirse Ronan, Harris Dickinson and Elliot Heffernan in his film debut (to incredible reviews). Hero’s Lacey Leigh Payne makes her feature debut as a young evacuee.

The play, set in the nineties, is about community, friendship, rites of passage and what it is to be 16 and in love. BEAUTIFUL THING is a touching, urban love story, full of warmth and humour.
